When Blue Blood started, it was almost impossible to find anyone who would shoot a person with Crayola hair with fashion lighting. Both style and sensuality were things I really looked for editorially and still look for in models, so it seems like seeking flattering presentation in photography is just the logical extension. This is why I do not think of something which is so fundamental as cross-over. It is both gratifying and vaguely unsettling that something which was once such a struggle to publish and to distribute and to get anyone to shoot is now so nearly commonplace.
